Welcome to West Crete's Data Cube

Powered by CERTH/ITI, GRID-Geneva and CEOS.

The power of West Crete's Data Cube assists the satellite data users to monitor and evaluate land resources and land change.

    The Data Cube offers:
  • Ease of use and access to satellite-based data
  • Multiple dataset interoperability and spatial consistency
  • Use of "Analysis Ready" Data Products
  • A Shift in Paradigm from Scenes to Pixels

West Crete's Data Cube contains Sentinel-2, Landsat 5,7 and 8 Analysis Ready Data for the West Crete, including the protected area of Samaria in Greece. The working team of West Crete's Data Cube envisages to encapsulate the micro-cubes of the European protected areas.

Satellite Data ingestion is in progress.
